$9.00 Brake Overheating & Fade
Overview

Brake Overheating

Brake Overheating is a standalone FiveM script that adds a new mechanic to your server's car community. Brakes heat up and cool down depending on how a car is driven: lots of acceleration and hard braking push the temperature up, and once it climbs too high the brakes begin to glow and start to fade, losing braking power.

Upgraded brakes overheat slower and cool down quicker, so the brake upgrade at the mechanic finally has a real meaning. This script is assured to keep your mechanics a bit more busy.

What to expect

  • Standalone usage, no framework required
  • Works on all vehicles, even modded ones and bikes
  • Very realistic heatup and cooldown formula
  • Beautiful visual effects when brakes run hot
  • Reduced braking performance once brakes overheat
  • Super configurable
  • Brake upgrades affect heatup and cooldown times

Resource usage

  • Idle: 0.00ms
  • In a vehicle: 0.01 to 0.02ms
  • Hot brakes: 0.04 to 0.07ms
  • Near multiple vehicles with hot brakes: 0.05 to 0.08ms

Compatibility

Standalone, ESX, QBCore, QBox and vRP. This resource works flawlessly on all servers, including ones running no framework at all.
