Overview

Ballistic & Riot Police Shield Script

Give your officers ballistic and riot shields for tactical police RP. The script is simple to configure, and shields can be handed out however your server works: as inventory items, through a command, or entirely through exports for your own integrations.

Features

  • Shield activation: equip shields by player command or by item, both configurable.
  • Export implementation: disable the default /shield command or items and use exports instead, so you control exactly how shields enter play.
  • Multiple shield types: ballistic and riot shields out of the box, with the option to add your own custom shields.
  • Placement and dropping: drop a shield mid-fight or place it on the ground to hold a position.
  • Weapon compatibility check: shields only work with the weapons you allow in the config.
  • Performance: 0.00ms resmon idle, 0.01ms while carrying a shield.
  • Highly configurable: swap shield models, animations, and behaviors to match your server.
  • Action restrictions: automatically block things like ladder climbing or specific controls while a shield is active.

How It Works

  • Item: use the item configured for the shield.
  • Command: /shield [type] equips or unequips a shield, for example ballistic or riot.
  • Drop shield: press X to drop your shield.
  • Place shield: press G to place your shield on the ground.
