Overview

Rahe Spatial Speaker System

A location-based music system built around spatial audio. Carry a speaker with you, attach one to a vehicle (visually mounted through the gizmo system if you want), queue songs, browse the music history, or drop permanent and public speakers with logging turned on.

Beyond the basics you can create new speaker types in-game, run a built-in shop for players to buy them, move permanent speakers with the gizmo, organise speakers into synced groups, and shape the output with audio filters. The resource is standalone and exposes an API so it can be plugged into any framework.

This is a script we run on our own roleplay server. Tens of thousands of unique songs have been played through it, and every release is tested by hundreds of players for weeks before it ships on Tebex.

House parties, beach festivals, weddings, car meets, cruising with friends. It replaces crackling mics and third party music apps with something that actually reacts to where players are standing.

Features

1. Spatial audio

Sound behaves the way it does in the real world. Players hear the same track differently depending on where they are relative to the speakers, close, far away, or behind them. That is the difference between a house party and a UI playing music at everyone.

2. Configurability

Add new speaker models through config, each with its own max range, filters and volume. A basic boombox can carry a short distance, a large club speaker can cover a whole plaza.

3. Music on the move

Speakers attach to the player or to a vehicle. Hide the vehicle speaker or use the gizmo to place a visible model on the car. The music follows whoever is carrying it.

4. Speaker groups

Connect and synchronise multiple speakers into one group. Line a stage with bass heavy speakers near the front and balanced ones around the crowd. For car meets, sync speakers across every vehicle in the convoy so everyone hears the same song at the same moment.

5. Filters

Apply filters per speaker to fine tune the sound: lowpass, highshelf, bandpass and more. Push the bass for a concert, sharpen the treble for vocals, or dial in the profile that fits the event.
