$25.00 Bail, Parole and Bounty Hunter Job
Overview

A Full Bail Enforcement Loop

This is a first of its kind system that gives your server a working bail enforcement job. Officers place players on parole, and when those players stop cooperating, bounty hunters clean up.

Bail and Parole

  • Players placed on bail must report to an NPC Parole Officer for each day of their bail period.
  • Every meeting sends them out to do community service to stay compliant.
  • Miss a meeting and bail is automatically revoked, putting the player on the bounty list for hunters to find and detain for a reward.
  • Parolees wear an ankle monitor that shows their position to all on-duty officers.
  • Monitors can be cut off by the player, which alerts police (requires configuring a dispatch event).
  • Any officer with bail management permission can pardon or revoke bail.

Bounty Hunting

  • Hunters with permission clock in and receive a loadout. The default Tazer will not fire on non-bounty targets, which shuts down taze abuse.
  • NPC bounties generate automatically at low, medium or high risk. The risk level decides how likely the NPC is to flee on foot, flee by vehicle, assault you, or come at you with a weapon.
  • Bounties can be taken on together: when one hunter turns in your bounty, both of you get paid.
  • Turning a player bounty over to an officer pays a bonus multiplier to the officer and the hunter.
  • Works with ox_target, qb-target, qtarget, or with targeting disabled entirely.

Requirements

  • ESX (1.1+), QBox or QB. The bridge is fully accessible, so you can code your own support for other frameworks or target systems.
  • ox_lib (required, works anywhere).

Installation

  1. Install the items shown in the INSTALL folder.
  2. Add ensure pickle_bailbounty to your server config.
  3. Enable or disable the target option in the config to match your server.
  4. Restart the server.
