Deployable Emergency Vehicle Light

Undercover law enforcement, paramedics and road workers all need a way to be seen from a civilian vehicle. This script lets players deploy a blue, red or orange emergency light on any vehicle on the spot. It is heavily configurable but simple to drop in.

Features

• Runs standalone with no dependencies. An inventory script (esx, qb, ox and others) is only needed if you want to use the light as an item.
• The light props are included with the files and are not encrypted.
• Works automatically on any vehicle with a roof, unless the vehicle is blacklisted. There is no need to configure individual light positions for each vehicle.
• Special vehicles, for instance ones without a roof, can be manually configured with a suitable light position.
• The light color (blue, red, orange) can be set per vehicle. You can also hand out a separate item for each color, and the deployed light matches the color of the item used.
• The light can blink instead of rotate.
• Optional toggleable siren that can be used while the light is deployed. Custom sirens are supported.
• Light properties, animations, vehicle configurations, sirens and more are all configurable.
• Fully synchronized between players and optimized for multiple lights deployed at once, since only nearby vehicle lights are rendered.

Resmon: 0.00ms idle, 0.07ms active on 1 vehicle, 0.13ms active on 10 close-by vehicles.

How it works

• Deploy light: use the item or command while driving any vehicle that is not blacklisted in the configuration.
• Light deployed: a default configuration automatically finds a suitable position on the roof. Specific vehicles can still be given their own place animation, light color, light position or sirens.
• Toggle siren: press L-SHIFT while the light is deployed. The bind is configurable and the siren can be disabled.
• Remove light: use the command or L-CTRL, both configurable.
