Overview

Pickle's Police Job with In-Game Creator

The first police job where the Chief builds the department from a computer terminal instead of the server owner editing config files. Add departments, place armories, wire up ranks and permissions, all without touching a job in your framework.

What makes it different

Every department runs off this resource, not off framework jobs. You can put every officer under police in QB or ESX and let the script sort out which department, which rank, and which permissions they actually have. Clocking on and off handles the framework grade automatically and drops officers to unemployed when they clock off.

In-game department creation

  • Add, edit, and remove locations for armories, garages, computer terminals, front desks, and lockers
  • Set the department logo, title, and Chief of Police
  • Chief can restrict armories and garages behind permissions like Rifle Certified or Air Certified

Front desk

  • Apply for the department
  • Clock on and off duty
  • View your recent duty logs

Computer terminal: roster

  • Add, manage, and remove ranks, members, and permissions
  • Permissions drive access to gated armories and garages
  • Ranks are organised however the department wants, with a framework grade number (0-4) set per framework job in config.lua

Computer terminal: cases and files

  • Add, edit, and remove cases and their evidence
  • Import evidence reports straight from field work
  • Write summaries in a modern text editor that supports embedded images, video, and text

Evidence system

  • Evidence Camera to scan bullets, blood, and vehicles, and to take photos, all saved into an evidence report
  • BAC, GSR, fingerprint, and blood testing each produce their own evidence report, so a suspect's BAC at the time of the stop is provable later without clipping software
  • Reconstruct Scene mode prints a case out into the world so you can walk the evidence and piece it back together

Police tools

  • Grappler, stab sticks, object placer, NVG and thermal goggles, snakecams, and shields

Credits

  • NukePUG for helping create the stab-stick prop and grappler rope
  • RogueThunder for creating and giving permission to use their grappler model
  • Envi Scripts for the exports in envi-addictions that add police job support

Requirements

  • ESX (1.1+), QBox, or QB. The bridge is open, so you can add or edit framework integrations yourself
  • ox_lib (required, works anywhere)
  • Optional for evidence: any metadata-supported inventory such as ox_inventory or qb-inventory

Installation

Follow the steps in the docs, very quick to set up.
